MEDICAL GRADE SKINCARE: INVEST IN YOUR SKIN

Let’s be honest, there’s an abundance of products on the market and we’ve all spent thousands of dollars hoping that these products will live up to their promises. The trick is being able to distinguish the marketing schemes from the products with true potential. So let’s forget about pretty packages and luring phrases and get to what matters—what’s inside!

Let's Talk Ingredients!

Medical-grade skincare products contain a much higher concentration of the product’s active ingredient, such as retinols, peptides and antioxidants—the stuff that matters! This is why they are only sold under the care of a medical professional or authorized retailer. They are developed to treat specific skin conditions and the product’s claims are usually backed by clinical research. This clinical research ensures that you're getting the most effective results.

Over-the-counter products are easily accessible and are designed to be used by the majority of the population without causing negative side effects. This accessibility means that over-the-counter products contain a MUCH lower percentage of the product’s active ingredient—the stuff that matters and actually makes a difference! Unfortunately, the quality ingredients found in medical-grade skincare are usually replaced with fillers, fragrances and preservatives. Unlike medical-grade products, over-the-counter products aren’t generally backed by clinical research and are mostly sold on unfound promises.

It's All About the Delivery!

Active ingredients are most effective when they reach the dermis—the middle layer of skin—where collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid are produced. This is why medical-grade products use enhanced delivery systems that drive ingredients deep into the skin. Because the ingredients in medical-grade products penetrate into the dermis, they are able to address skin conditions such as fine lines/wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. These products can actually change the appearance of your skin!

Over-the-counter products only work on the epidermis—the outermost layer of the skin. This limitation means that the product sits on the top layer of the skin and doesn’t penetrate the deeper layers where real changes are made.

Let's Talk Cost Factor!

There’s no denying that medical-grade products can be pricier, but there’s a very good reason for it—you’re getting better ingredients that penetrate deeper into the skin. Better ingredients mean that you need less of the product to achieve the desired result. That means you will actually SAVE money in the long-run by using higher quality products. We aren’t claiming that there aren’t decent over-the-counter products—there are exceptions to every rule. But in general, you won’t find quality over-the-counter products that will visibly change your skin.

Invest in Your Skin!

Your skin is an investment—PERIOD. True skincare results require time and consistency, and most importantly, quality. Don’t be fooled by cheap and quick. It's imperative that you do your research. What works for one person doesn’t work for all, and you want to be as informed as possible when it comes to your skincare.
